The National Police have confirmed fears that a child’s body found on the banks of the Isabela River was that of Rafael Eduardo Jourdain, who disappeared from the Invivienda area on 14 April. The Police said that “the autopsy certifies that the body taken from the Isabela River is that of the Jourdain child.” His mother was escorted to the offices of the Forensic Institute where she received the official report. In anguish she told reporters that “the Lord had used her child as the sacrificial lamb to discover that beast,” a reference to accused pedophile Justo Felix who is currently in preventive custody. The Forensic report did not confirm any signs of sexual abuse. The child had been suffocated. A report in El Caribe says that evidence of child pornography was found after a search of Justo Felix’s home on the night of 25 April.
