A PRSC activist died yesterday, Wednesday, 2 May, and a PRD supporter was wounded during a clash between PRSC and PRD members. The incident occurred before a caravan started along Duarte Avenue in the city of Gaspar Hernandez. The dead victim is PRSC member Epifanio Grullon Pena, 41, a local resident, who was hit by two gunshots. He died while being taken to the Marcelino Velez Santana Hospital in Santo Domingo. The man who was wounded is also a local resident, PRD member Leandro Bueno, 21. He was hit by a bullet in the inner thigh and was taken to the Ricardo Limardo Hospital in Puerto Plata.<\/p>\n
