The Chamber of Deputies has received a legislative proposal from the PRD deputy representing San Jose de Ocoa, Esther Minyetti called “A proposal for a Law on the Media in the Dominican Republic.” The bill seeks to prohibit the media from presenting violence, discriminatory or sexual content.
