Carlos Peguero led the Gigantes del Cibao to a five-run rally in the eleventh inning to defeat the Leones del Escogido, 9-4, in the Quisqueya Stadium last night, Tuesday 30 October. Over in the Estadio Cibao, in Santiago, the Aguilas Cibaenas left the Estrellas Orientales in the field and Chris Coghlan hit a triple with two outs in the ninth inning to bring in the winning run.<\/p>\n
As a result of these games, the Aguilias climb to second spot in the standings.<\/p>\n
