During the past six years, trade between the UK and the DR has totaled US$1.34 billion. In 2007, trade between both countries was worth US$204 million, but six years on in 2012 it had increased to US$246 million. The data was compiled by the British Chamber of Commerce. Chamber president Campos de Moya says that the trade balance was positive for the DR with US$72 million more in exports. He said more than 80 lines of Dominican products are being exported.<\/p>\n
