In the statement after the first talks were resumed on 3 January 2014 in Ouanaminthe, Haiti recognized the right of the Dominican Republic to decide who is a Dominican national. Nevertheless, the country&#8217;s government is pushing for the rectification of the Constitutional Court ruling 168-13.
