Kook Bo Yang, spokesman for the Korea Trade Center said that executives from Hyundai Heavy Industry will use the DR as a platform to launch their new mobile power plants that generate 1 and 1.5 megawatts. Furthermore, the spokesman for the Korean government confirmed that Hyundai Motors will sell 2,200 units of vehicles to the Dominican government for US$50 million.
