The first event is scheduled to be held in Puerto Plata from 8-11 November. The fair site could be the Botanical Gardens atop Isabel de Torres Mountain, or in Cabarete or the Damajagua Falls area in Imbert. A planning committee headed by the Minister of Tourism Ramon Alfredo Bordas will meet in Puerto Plata 23-24 August to arrange final details.
