Three Dominican performers are nominated in the Second Latin Grammy Awards to be held in Los Angeles and broadcast live on CBS this evening. Dominican performers dominate in the Best Merengue Album category with: Eddy Herrera (“Me Enamoré”), Chichi Peralta (“De Vuelta al Barrio”) and Toño Rosario (“Yo Soy Toño”). In the Best Tropical Song category, Toño Rosario was nominated for his “Yo me Muero por Ella.” In the first Grammy Awards ceremony last year, Juan Luis Guerra won in the merengue category with his “Ni es lo mismo, ni es igual.” The Grammy’s are scheduled for 9 pm on TeleAntillas, Channel 2.
