Change fees are being waived. Another option is to change reservations for future travel. Changes are allowed for new travel on or before 15 November 2001.<br \/>\nPassengers ticketed for travel between 11 September and 18 September may elect to receive a full refund to the original form of payment or in the form of a voucher for totally unused tickets, or a partial refund for partially unused tickets. Change fees will be waived.<br \/>\nAs of information updated this morning, the airline announced plans to operate approximately one-third of its normal schedule today and its regional affiliate, American Eagle was said to operate approximately 50% of its normal schedule. TWA, an American Airlines company, will operate approximately 65% of its normal schedule.<br \/>\nThe airline announced that 50 of American&#146;s 147 flights that had departed on Tuesday and were later diverted to other airports before reaching their intended destination completed their trips yesterday. Another 12 diverted flights were later cancelled. American expects that most of the remaining diverted flights will ach their original destinations today.<br \/>\nAccording to the airline, there are plans to resume more flying gradually until reaching about 80% of the schedule flown prior to Tuesday&#146;s hijacking tragedy. The airline explains that the Federal Aviation Agency&#146;s new security measures, which all airlines are implementing, need a reduced schedule in order to minimize delays and customer inconvenience.<br \/>\nThe airline announced it would start flights today from Kennedy, La Guardia and Newark Airports today at noon ad would operate a limited number of transcontinental flights.<br \/>\nAt Miami, the airline will operate approximately 50 percent of its normal schedule between 6:00 a.m. and midnight.
