Santana says that the company already has invested US$15 million in repairs. Both travelers and the airline companies operating from the airport will soon see considerable improvements in service. Among improvements are installation of multi-use airline counters. This will enable airlines that do not need their counters 24 hours a day to share these with other companies, thus making more efficient the airport operation. Santana says that they have as priority the speeding up of the time it takes for a passenger to receive downloaded luggage.
