Jesucita Hernández is deputy director of Civil Aviation, her husband Manuel Alfredo Rivera is in charge of personnel. Among the two they make RD$265,000 a month. Hernandez is on the payroll for RD$60,000, plus US$8,000 for the Proyecto de Cooperacion Tecnica MSA\/Dom \/970’801" that was supposed to remove Category III for the DR, but has not been successful in doing so. Her husband, Rivera makes a salary of RD$35,000 as director of personnel and collects and additional US$4,500, supposedly for the above mentioned program. In addition, their son, who is employed as a Civil Aviation representative in Miami, Florida, makes an additional US$2,000.
