Seven companies presented their credentials to participate in the privatization process of the 50% of the shares of Molinos Dominicanos and Molinos del Norte, two state-owned flour mills. The new company will be known as Molinos del Ozama. Participating in the tender are: Seaboard Corporation, Continental Grain, ADM Milling Co., Pan American Grain, Conagra Inc., Casa Ureña C. por A., and Malla y Cía. The credentials of the companies are evaluated by the Comisión de Reforma de la Empresa Pública, the state organization in charge of the Dominican state enterprises privatization process.
