Last 16 July, the administrator of the agrarian bank presented documents with supposed proofs of corruption in office against the congressman for over RD$27 million. Accusations were also presented against other officers for squandering RD$500 million. Congressman Adriano S&aacute;nchez enjoys privileges that will protect him from any judicial action while he is with Congress. Congressional elections are scheduled for 16 May, 1998.
