On Saturday, 29 November, the President&#8217;s car almost suffered a serious accident due to a dangerous sudden change in direction by its chauffeur. The President left the National Palace in his black jeep at around 1 pm. Preceding his vehicle were his two motorcycle escorts, another jeep and a vehicle with his bodyguards. The escort caravan turned as planned along the Avenida M&eacute;xico and headed East. It appeared that at last minute, the President changed his mind and ordered the driver to turn west. The driver imprudently did so, and met a truck and a pickup that nearly missed smashing into the presidential vehicle.
