CNN in Spanish and Rolex focus on Casa de Campo’s Teeth of the Dog and Dye Fore golf courses in a new series on golf, “Viviendo el Golf” that aired as of May 2006. The new CNN TV program is targeted at golf lovers and presents tourist destinations, international golfing personalities and the top Latin American players. Casa de Campo’s golf courses were featured in the 6 June 2006 episode that first aired at 9:30 pm Eastern Time. Diego Bustos, who presents the show, featured the Dominican Republic as a prime golf destination. It featured interviews with Pepe Fanjul, Claudio Silvestri and Gilles Gagnon of Casa de Campo. The series includes special contributions from Henrique Lavie, the commissioner of the Tour de las Americas.<\/p>\n
The Tour de las Americas is an organized golf tour for professionals in Latin America and the Caribbean. It expands on the former Caribbean Tour played in the late 70s and 80s and that served as battleground for golf stars such as Curtis Strange, Bernhard Langer, Sam Torrance, and Nick Faldo.
