Sans Souci port director Luis Molina says that the international financial crisis will not affect the DR’s ports as he expects an estimated 82,000 visitors, 22% more than last year, with projected revenues of US$9.8 million. Molina said that the cruise ship industry is guided by “lead time” which means that reservations are made six to seven months in advance.
