Dominican Annual Tourism Exchange (DATE) is taking place from Wednesday, 27 April to Friday, 29 April 2011 at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in northern Punta Cana. The event is organized by the National Hotel & Tourism Association with the support of the Ministry of Tourism. This is the leading booking reservations event for Dominican hotels held in the Dominican Republic.<\/p>\n
DATE was created to provide a professionally-organized business exchange where international wholesalers, tour operators, incentive groups, airlines and charter operators could meet and conduct business with the DR’s leading tourism suppliers.<\/p>\n
20-minute meetings between buyers and suppliers are scheduled in advanced through computer matching or at the event during scheduling sessions. Buyers can also request on-site visits while in Punta Cana.<\/p>\n
