Three Kings Day actually falls on Friday, 6 January, but the Ministry of Labor has set its celebration for Monday, 9 January. As Dominicans will still be recovering from partying on 1 January, many who can to take time off from Thursday, 5 January are not likely to get back to work until Tuesday, 10 January. Some universities reopen in the first week of January, but most elementary and high schools don&#8217;t resume until Tuesday.
