Triple world windsurfing champion Kevin Pritchard is coming for this year’s Pablito Guzman Cabarete Classic. The event will take place from 17-21 July at Cabarete beach. Pritchard will be competing in slalom and long-distance races. He will also lead a free slalom and racing clinic on 18 July open to all competitors and non-competitors. <\/p>\n
The Cabarete Classic will take place on Cabarete Beach in the town center. The Cabarete Classic is a four-day long event that includes racing and freestyle categories for competitors of all ages and abilities.<\/p>\n
The categories are: Mini-Juniors, Juniors, Long Distance Race (windsurfing and kitesurfing), Slalom in Sport, Open and kitesurfing classes, Women’s Slalom, a Business Class (for local business owners) and a Freestyle competition.<\/p>\n
A unique one-day long distance event, beginning in La Hermita and ending in Cabarete, is designed for top racers from around the world.<\/p>\n
