A collection of beaches, but without hotels, the visit to the island is the most popular excursion taken by tourists visiting the Dominican Republic&#8217;s southeastern tourist resorts. <\/p>\n<p> The Ministry of Environment has installed a solar powered plant costing US$400,000.
