NASA says the moon will begin to change color at about 2am Eastern Time on Tuesday, 12 August 2014. <\/p>\n<p> The moon show will last through 4:24am, with the height of the event forecast for 3:45am. <\/p>\n<p> It is not yet known if there will be a clear sky or some cloud cover. <\/p>\n<p> The red moon is caused by a lunar eclipse.
