The power plant consists of two units with a generating capacity of 376 megawatts each, for a total of 752 megawatts and complementary works. The CDEEE awarded the construction to the consortium made up of the companies Constructora Norberto Odebrecht S.A., Tecnimont S.p.A. and Ingenieria Estrella SRL. <\/p>\n<p> IMPE-Gezhouba Group has disputed the granting of the contract to the consortium on the grounds that their proposal was for US$900 million.
