The study showed the DR posted the third fastest growth in exports of 18 countries analyzed by the IDB. Gold exports, which were up 35% this year, made the difference. As reported, overall exports of Central America and the Caribbean on average were up 3% in 2014 for US$43.6 billion. Exports were up 4% to the region&#8217;s main source market, the United States.
