Four people were killed and one was injured when their vehicle fell into a river on kilometer 5 on the El Seibo-Hato Mayor road on Sunday, 1 February 2015. <\/p>\n
The victims were identified as Vianka Ozuna, 23, Riki Nolasco, 32, Wander Matos, 19 and Valeria Suarez, 20. <\/p>\n
The 28-year old driver Esneibel Araujo Casado was injured in the accident. <\/p>\n
This is the latest in a series of recent road traffic accidents that have taken several lives. On 16 January, six people were killed on the Duverge highway when their SUV collided with a truck and burst into flames, and on 22 December five young people between the ages of 21 and 29 were killed when their vehicle crashed into a pole on the Las Americas highway near Boca Chica and erupted in flames. <\/p>\n
