The union ordered the staple &#8220;pan de agua&#8221; bread roll, which weighs 2.26 oz, to be sold for RD$7 per unit. A smaller size (1.4 oz) will be made available for the former price of RD$5. The union ordered the new prices after they failed to obtain government subsidies.
