For example we have the question: &#8220;If the presidential elections were held today, who would you vote for?&#8221; Sociologist Fatima Torres explains that this question, as well as others, is necessary in order to apply them to the sample of the voting public to measure trends in politics. &#8220;Every candidate needs to handle numbers and information on how he or she is appreciated by the voters. This is why we have surveys. However, the results are circumstantial.
