However, CAASD would do everything possible to continue to provide water for human consumption and try to meet the water demands for the energy sector. <\/p>\n<p> Montas said that weather forecasts are predicting little rain for the country over the next few weeks and that, combined with low water levels in rivers and reservoirs in greater Santo Domingo prompted CAASD to make the decision to order water conservation measures.  <\/p>\n<p> Yesterday, Tuesday 21 July 2015, the water system could only provide 329.74 million gallons of water per day n a normal daily supply of water is 400 million gallons.
