On Friday and Saturday, shows are at 8:30pm and on Sunday at 7:30pm. <\/p>\n<p> Giovanny Cruz&#8217;s Dominican adaptation is based on the tragic story of theater actor Kate Claxton, who in front of an audience of 900 continued acting despite noticing that a fire had broken out near the end of the performance of &#8220;The Two Orphans&#8221; at the Brooklyn Theatre on December 5, 1876. When the actors realized that the fire was still blazing, they urged the audience to leave in an orderly fashion, but a chaotic stampede ensued, killing over 200 people and completely destroying the theater.
