The event that has prizes for more than RD$1 million has the backing of UCI. It is a class 1 UCI event that means that winners accumulate points for the 2015 UCI Mountain Bike global ranking.<\/p>\n<p> In the past, the competition used to be held along Constanza mountain trails.
