Onamet is also advising a stop to all water sports on the north coast. However, Onamet indicates that conditions should be back to normal by the weekend (3-4 October 2015) with some scattered showers, especially in the north, northeast, central mountain range and border with Haiti. <\/p>\n<p> Scattered showers are forecast nationwide today, Friday 2 October 2015, especially from the central valley region to the western part of the country from the southwestern province of Peravia (Bani) to the northwestern province of Montecristi as a consequence of hurricane Joaquin.
