The District Attorney of the National District says that the investigation into the Banco Peravia bankruptcy case has unearthed some “serious implications” for the former director of the Office of Engineers and Supervisors of State Works (OISOE) Miguel Pimentel Kareh. “A major investigation is underway that links him to serious facts in the Banco Peravia case, in several ways… in contrast with his defense arguments,” said National District prosecutor Yeni Berenice Reynoso, who added that she could not provide further details at this stage.
