The Kansas City Royals has four Dominican pitchers – Yordano Ventura, Johnny Cueto, Edison Volquez and Kelvin Herrera. <\/p>\n
The World Series between the Kansas City Royals and the New York Mets will start at Kauffman Stadium in Kansas City. <\/p>\n
For the right to make the playoffs for the American League, Kansas City defeated the Toronto Blue Jays on Friday night, 23 October 2015 4-2, in a dramatic game with an outstanding performance by Dominican pitcher Yordano Ventura for Kansas and Jose Bautista for Toronto. Earlier in the National League, the Mets had defeated the Chicago Cubs. <\/p>\n
For the Mets, it will be their first World Series since 2000. The Royals lost the Series in seven games to the San Francisco Giants last year. <\/p>\n
