The former president of the Insurance Brokers’ Association (Adocose) Jeanidalia Guzman says that 90% of motorcyclists are using the roads without any kind of insurance coverage. She says this is a consequence of the government’s failure to enforce the law. <\/p>\n
“It is the authorities that do not make it obligatory for motorcyclists to have insurance coverage despite them being involved in 80% of traffic accidents in the country,” said Guzman in a press release. <\/p>\n
