The Centro Economico del Cibao says that a 9 May 2016 poll of 1,200 eligible voters showed that the PRM candidate for mayor of the National District David Collado has 47.9% to Mayor Roberto Salcedo of the PLD’s 42.7%. Karim Abu Naba’a has 3% of the vote, as reported in Listin Diario. In a previous poll on 28 April, Salcedo had 47.9% to 41.5% for Collado. <\/p>\n
The Centro Economico del Cibao says that the PLD will win the senate seat with Reinaldo Pared leading with 47.6% to Alberto Atallah (PRM) with 22.4%, Vinicio Castillo (FNP) with 71% and Aura Celeste Fernandez (Alianza Pais) with 5.4%. <\/p>\n
