The Attorney General office has begun to issue good conduct certificates online. The certificates, which have been issued on request since 1 June 2016, state whether the applicant has a criminal record, according to the AG Office database. <\/p>\n
All applications for the document must now be submitted online. <\/p>\n
The service was formally inaugurated yesterday, Thursday 9 June 2016 in the presence of Attorney General Francisco Dominguez Brito at the Centro de Atencion al Ciudadano (CAC) offices located at the Malecon Center in Santo Domingo. <\/p>\n
In order to obtain the document, applicants need to pay a fee at a branch of the Banco de Reservas. <\/p>\n
For use outside the country, the documents required the validation of an apostille from the Ministry of Foreign Relations. <\/p>\n
