Aerodom, the company that oversees all airline operations in the DR, told the Listin Diario that while the contract they signed on 7 July 1999 called for an investment of US$203 million in a first phase, it also established that if international long-term financing could not be obtained, as is the present case, the investment needed would be in the amount of US$33 million plus a sum equal to the specialized airport fees, for a investment commitment as of July 2004 of US$105 million.
