DGII revenues in the first three months of the year increased RD$4.42 billion, from RD$14.44 million to RD$18.87 billion.<\/p>\n<p> He said that tax collections increased RD$879.4 million for 4.8% more than budgeted for the period.<\/p>\n<p> Customs taxes were up RD$3.87 billion, or 57.81% more than during the same period last year.<\/p>\n<p> ITBIS collections increased 44.56% to RD$1.9 billion. The increase exceeded the 33.3% increase that was stipulated in the most recent tax reform. This tax increased 14% over last year&#8217;s level.<\/p>\n<p> Income tax was also up 14%, going from RD$5.65 billion in 2004 to RD$6.45 billion for the first three months in 2005.<\/p>\n<p> Property tax increased 79%, going from RD$453 million to RD$811.7 million.
