Exports were US$1.47 billion and imports US$782 million.<\/p>\n<p>Gonz\u00e1lez said that exports of Commonwealth countries form a conglomerate that would be the third largest trade partner of the country, after the United States and Haiti. Gonz\u00e1lez said that of the five main countries the Dominican Republic exports to three are members of the Commonwealth \u2013 Canada, India and Great Britain.<\/p>\n<p>Gonz\u00e1lez spoke on the World Commonwealth Day event held at the Torre Empresarial on Av.
