A private sandy beach is developed on the eastern side of the park. To its west the North Coasts first full-service marina for 200 vessels is being created, to serve the busy Bahamas-Puerto Rico route. It is slated for a 2005 opening. This marine sanctuary is the place that will fill many pages in the family photo album to be shown over and over again.

Visitors to the park can be active or leisurely participants. Classical music frames the mood for those who care to stroll along the kilometers of meandering walkways that serve as guides to the activity areas.

Framed by the multi-tonal blues of the Atlantic Ocean's waters, Ocean World's biggest plus is that it brings marine life to people of all ages. It makes possible what is simply off-limits to most people, without the dangers of real life. And it does so in a way that helps people bond with, appreciate and respect marine life in the wild.
