Italian fashion tycoon Massimo Ferragamo was in Puerto Plata to present the trophies at the Ritmo Social-Ferragamo Golf Tournament held over the 4-6 November weekend. The tournament took place at the Playa Dorada Golf Course and brought together the Dominican jet set.

The Ferragamo Golf Tournament came on the heels of the Playa Dorada Golf Course achievement in winning the recognition of its peers by making Golf Digest magazine’s ranking of the top 100 golf courses outside the United States.

Playa Dorada is now included in “The World’s Greatest Golf” booklet distributed to Golf Digest subscribers, which serves as a guidebook for US golfers.
