On Tuesday, 2 January 2018, President Danilo Medina inaugurated a supermarket belonging to the Olé chain located in the Juan Bosch City where more than 500 families are currently living. Prior to the opening of the Olé supermarket, residents in the Ciudad Juan Bosch had to travel around 50 minutes to get to the nearest supermarket.
Founder of Olé, José Manuel Rodríguez Lomba, said he was very pleased to be able to help the residents of the new community and thanked the government for building the project.
Having cut the ribbon to inaugurate the supermarket, President Medina toured the supermarket. Afterwards, he checked on the progress of the construction of a hospital and a nursery within the same Juan Bosch City government development complex.
