The Center for Export and Investment of the Dominican Republic (CEI-RD) invites to participate in the 5-6 August 2020 virtual trade show — ConnectDR2020 Virtual Multi-Sector Export Fair. The Dominican government export and investment promotion agency says the event seeks to connect Dominican exporters and international buyers. B2B meetings and video conferences with foreign buyers are booked for registered participants.
The governmental CEI-RD Connect platform is a free online marketplace where Dominican exporters and international buyers can connect, buy and sell 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Already hundreds of Dominican exporters have registered to reach out to potential buyers.
Marius de León, executive director of CEI-RD, says Dominican exporters can practice the new normal way of doing business and promote their products and services. De León says buyers have registered from United States, Canada, Puerto Rico, Spain, Morocco, Panama, and Trinidad and Tobago, among other countries. Most foreign participants have shown interest in farm produce, agro-industrial products and manufactured goods.
