The Central Park of Santiago is reopening Wednesday, 29 July 2020. The park had been closed to the general public since the start of the Covid-19 lockdown in March. The board of trustees that runs the park says its use is restricted to runners, walkers, and cyclists. The board will be announcing when other activities will be allowed in the park.
In Santo Domingo, the Mirador del Sur Park has continued open to the general public.
