President Abinader attends start of large residential community in Punta Cana

President Luis Abinader was in Punta Cana for the Panorama Lake groundbreaking ceremony. The Grupo Sención residences construction will have 1,200 residential units in the Bávaro area of Punta Cana. Panorama Lake calls for an investment of US$102 million

The investment will operate in association with the Grupo Martinon that has around 3,000 hotel rooms in the DR, including the NH, Breathless, Now Onyx, Now Larimar and Port Uvero Beach & Spa.

Attending were the presidents of Grupo Martinon, Enrique Martinon; of ALG Vacations, Ray Snisky; of Grumasa RD, Artur Cabre; and the regional vice presidents of AMR RD, Bob Thye and Daniel Hernández and the regional commercial director, Luis Núñez. Also Guillermo Sención Súarez, for Grupo Sención.

Present for the government were Tourism Minister David Collado, Administrative Minister of the Presidency Jose Ignacio Paliza, Public Works Minister Deligne Ascención, Customs Agency director Eduardo Sanz Lovaton, administrator of the Banco de Reservas, Samuel Pereyra and the director of the National Housing Institute, Carlos Bonilla. Also the governor of La Altagracia province, Martina Pepén, La Altagracia senator Virgilio Cedano, among others.
