Does anyone here in the La Romana area know of a lawyer that handles residency for us foreigners? I need a "Warranty Letter" . . . . and then to eventually handle the rest of the process once I arrive and complete the paperwork on that end . . .

How does one who does not live in the D.R. go about getting a Dominican national or a permanent resident living in the D.R. to write /issue this 'letter', notarize it and then legalized by the Dist. Attorney Office??? . . . especially if you don't know much of anyone there??

What exactly should this letter contain? . . . Or is this the "Compromise Letter Visa and Migratory Category form?
