I am coming back for my 6th trip. I like to travel about from the SD area up through Monte Plata, Cotui and to Semana. I know things are different since the change, but am I to expect to be roadblocked and searched all through my travels? I rent a car, and travel alone, and don't don't do drugs...

I am visiting in March and am going to travel around some. Would like to visit some areas that have a dominate Haitian atmosphere to them. Landing in SD, and going north from there to probably Las Terrenas, or possibly the Sosua area. Any suggestions? I will be driving. Thanks - Wil
