A couple of years ago, I visited "Cueva de Cabarete" in El Choco. Does anyone know if this still exists? Is it worth a visit visit now? Is it safe to bring the whole family and children there? What are the entrence fees? How to find it by car? Thanks for any input

Hi, On our trip round DR, we are in the Sosua area Feb 25th - March 3rd. Does anyone know if there are any carnaval, parades or the like to enjoy... when and where? Besides, we will be in DR for the first time on Feb 27th. How is this celebrated - and does it affect shopping hours etc.? Cheers

Hi, Coming from Europe and having been around DR twice - north, south/SD, Saman? ect.- we are now heading for Jarabacoa. My homework tells me about at least three waterfalls - Salto de Baiguate, Salto Jimenoa Uno and Dos. Any input of order, time required to see all three, best ways to get to...
