The price of the haircut where I go is 300 pesos. So a 100 peso tip is +30%. I know this guy very well and I doubt he talks behind my back.

Many think the the DR government purposely closed the visa renewal office in Dajabon to make all those previously legals become illegal. Through no fault of their own. More opportunities to extort.

Now if they would just re-open the visa office there - those Haitians who used to re-new their visitors visa every month could become legal again. Of course at 20 USD a month X the number of months missed - most could not pay the back amount owed.
