How do authorized distributorships work in DR? For example, I see many huge companies that have authorized distributorships in many countries, but DR is not in the list.

Has anyone had any experiences being an authorized distributor of a product or brand in the DR?
What would it mean if I were to find a company that distributes a product in a bunch of different countries, but the DR is not listed anywhere?

Is that fair game?

Thanks.

i would suggest yes, but why don't you approach some of those companies and ask them. if you ask 20 you should be able to get at least 5 responses and maybe 1 big opportunity for you.

Be prepaerd to buy a ****load of stock and proof of solid distribution channels, not one eaches...

Few companies, if any, want two Jose's in a truck as their distributor...

Do your homework.

It's one thing being an authorized distributor here, it's another thing importing, selling, dealing with the competition and running the business.

Getting authorized distribution rights is the easy part.
